The Association’s AGM will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday 9th October 2012 at Eaton Golf Club. All residents who live in the EVRA Area are eligible to attend but only those who have paid their annual subscription are entitled to vote.
After the formal business and a break for refreshments, Martin Davidson, Persimmon Homes, will give us the latest position regarding the Wentworth Green development and Chris Stebbing will give a report on the work of the Marston Marshes working party. Our Local City Councillors and our local PCSO will give an update on their activities in the area.
The existing Committee is not up to full strength and the AGM presents the opportunity for residents to be nominated for membership. All existing Committee members are eligible for re-election. The Committee meets every two months to deal with matters arising. Events such as the Scarecrow Festival are overseen by a sub-committee formed from Members and co-opted volunteers. With a greater committee membership we would be able to undertake a wider range of activities.
