Church Services during Coronavirus Lockdown

We have been contacted by local churches with information about access to online services during the period of Church closures through their websites. We are happy to include information on other churches on our website for the benefit of residents. Here are links to two of these:

Ipswich Road URC An email from the URC says that the building is temporarily closed due to Government restrictions, however, as a church, we are still meeting-but through the internet. For the last 5 weeks, we have been able to produce and upload services-audio and/or video, preached by the ministers of the Norwich Area United Reformed church-Rev John Potter who as you know is minister of Ipswich Road URC, but is also minister to Princes Street in Norwich and Fairland URC in Wymondham and Rev Bruno Boldrini, minister of Trinity URC in Norwich, St Peter’s Jessopp Road (URC/Methodist) and Wroxham and Hoveton URC. These services may all be found on our website  https://ipswichroadurc.org.uk/ . The website also has a weekly “watched words” photograph and verse by Rev John Potter, different reflections and prayer suggestions. There is also a weekly “Messy Church” for younger people.(We are making good use of John Potter’s photographs!)

St Andrew’s Eaton has published information on their website about access to virtual and other services under the heading “When you can’t come to Church”.
