Pets as Therapy

Pets As Therapy( PAT) is a national charity providing a free community service to hospitals , hospices, care and nursing homes,  special needs schools, and a variety of other venues. The service is provided free by volunteers with their healthy, happy,  inoculated and temperament assessed dogs and cats.

Did you realise that in Norfolk there are over 150 establishments waiting for a PAT team (one volunteer and one animal) to become available. We need more volunteers to provide this vital service !

If you think you have a suitable animal that shows potential  for becoming a PAT dog or cat ,or you would like to know more about the charity, please look at the Pets As Therapy website https://petsastherapy.org/  You can also find us through our Facebook page at:  https://www.facebook.com/NorwichBestforPets/

Alternatively you would  be very welcome to contact me directly for further discussion.

My colleagues and I also provide a free Powerpoint  presentation about the history and work of the charity in the UK.
