The bench on Marston Lane was replaced on Thursday 12th December by the Norwich Fringe Project. The new oak bench and surrounding platform provides a convenient rest stop and also has a great view of the Marsh.

EVRA donated £400 to the Fringe Project towards the cost of materials for the new bench. The Fringe Project funded the remainder and it’s volunteers installed the bench finishing in the dark at 4.30pm on the day! The new platform has been finished with a safety rail and 1.5 tonnes of crushed granite to provide a level surface with the lane.
