Consultation on proposed Daniels Roundabout Traffic Flow Improvements

Transport for Norwich has launched a new consultation on proposed changes on the Norwich Ring Road between South Park Avenue and Newmarket Road to improve traffic flow, particularly around the Daniels roundabout. The scheme is estimated to cost £650,000. The proposed changes will have some impact on Eaton residents who use these roads both during implementation and afterwards. The proposals include creation of parking spaces on Colman Road which would seem to conflict with the aim of improving traffic flow around the Ring Road.

Please look at the changes proposed on the TfN website and submit any comments by the closing date of 12th February. Information on the proposals and how to take part in the consultation can be found on the TfN website at: https://www.norfolk.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/major-projects-and-improvement-plans/norwich/city-centre-improvements/improvement-projects/future/daniels-road-roundabout-traffic-flow-improvements
