Marston Marsh Community Picnic – Saturday 13th September 2014

It is three years since the Easy Access path was created around Marston Marsh and to celebrate this we propose to hold a community picnic on Saturday 13th September. Please come and join us at the outdoor classroom area and bring a picnic for you and your family. We will gather from 1:00pm. There is plenty of seating formed from old tree trunks at the outdoor classroom but you may wish to bring your own chairs or picnic blankets. We will take some flasks of hot water and supplies for making tea and coffee. We will also have available information leaflets on Marston Marsh and its environment.

You may wish to take a walk around the marsh to explore this wonderful site which is right on our door step. There are a number of footpaths in addition to the easy access path, although these can be muddy in places, particularly after rain. Remember to keep a close watch on your children since the site has a number of dykes and is bordered by the River Yare.

This event is weather dependent so we shall hope for a dry day. If it is raining then attendance will depend on your attitude to getting wet!

You will be able to check the latest position on our Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/eatonvillageresidentsassociation
