Norfolk Folk Tales are coming to Eaton!

In this performance professional storyteller and historian Dave Tonge will share his versions of some ancient tales and also tell us something of where they came from and how they have changed over time. From dark and dangerous dogs and wily wicked worms, to poor penniless pedlars and lanky long limbed lads, Norfolk is steeped in stories. Some had their beginnings here, growing in the telling until they grew as as big as our huge Norfolk skies. Others were brought here by incomers from other lands, like the Vikings, and later by soldiers, sailors and also merchants who came here to trade in our rich county.
