Spring 2016 Newsletter Issued and Other Updates to Website

The EVRA Spring 2016 Newsletter has been issued and is currently being delivered to households around the Village. You can also read a copy online by the following the link in the side panel on this page.

This edition includes items on: the Spring and Summer Garden competitions, Village Scarecrow Festival, Eaton Green Playground Project, Traffic and Parking around Eaton Primary School, an update on the Donkey Lane Project, and information on the Dyke Dipping sessions during May half-term week.

Also included is an envelope for your EVRA subscriptions for 2016 which are now due. These have been held at £1 per household, although further donations to support our Playground Project would be gratefully received. Your subscriptions help fund our community projects and pay for our expenses such as printing the Newsletter, insurance and supporting our Garden and Scarecrow Competitions.

Further information on all of these items can be found on the associated pages on this website.

The page for the New Transport Project for Eaton Cringleford has also been updated with the progress report on the consultation exercise conducted by the City Council. Work has already started on installing the new Toucan crossing on Newmarket Road near the junction with Poplar Avenue which is part of this project. This should be completed in early May 2016.

We await confirmation that the Norwich Car Club Bays in Greenways have been approved and a start date for the setting up of these. The proposed Car Club Bay on Sunningdale received many objections and was not approved.
