Support in Eaton Village during November 2020 Lockdown

We are now in another period of lockdown but with some easing of restrictions compared to the previous regime. You can read how these restrictions affect you on the UK Government website at:

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/new-national-restrictions-from-5-november

The Covid-19 Mutual Aid NR4 Whatsapp group remains in place and are able to support people with collection of medicines or shopping. You may already have a contact in this group from the previous lockdown and they should be able to assist you again. If not, and you are in need of support, please contact Chris Stebbing on Norwich 503301 or by email at: evra.vc@live.co.uk so that your details can be passed on to the Whatsapp group who will find someone to assist you.

A grocery collection and delivery service from Cringleford Stores is run by our local Councilors to support residents at Daisy Hill Court and they would be happy to extend this to the Eaton Village Area. They would also be happy to do pickups from other stores eg Waitrose.  You can contact our Councillors via Caroline Ackroyd on 07941 259502

We understand that Boots pharmacy will be providing a medicine delivery service for some vulnerable people during the current lockdown and those people should have received a letter from Boots about the arrangements. However, the Whatsapp group and our Councillors are able to assist with collection of prescriptions for other vulnerable people. Please contact Caroline Ackroyd or Chris Stebbing as per above.
