The weather forecast for Sunday 5th June is for heavy rain during the middle of the day which would put a dampener on picnic celebrations for the Jubilee. Having considered reports from various weather feeds we have decided to cancel the event at Wentworth Gardens since this is outdoors with no shelter available.

However, we have been able to arrange use of the 34th Norwich Scout HQ at Eaton Vale for Sunday so that some form of Jubilee celebration can proceed. Kyle will be there to sing for you and Timo and Max will have their cake stall. You can still bring your picnics and drinks along but no pets please.

The number of attendees will be limited to around 60 because of the size of the indoor space so residents will need to register their interest to be able to attend. Please send an email to: evra.vc@live.co.uk and I will confirm whether you have a place.

The 34th Norwich Scout HQ is on Church Lane and accessed via the entrance to the Eaton Vale Activity Centre . The site is at the end of the road beyond the Activity Centre building. Postcode is NR4 6NN
