Play Areas Survey –

With many play areas showing their age and traditional funding sources coming to an end, Norwich City Council is launching a consultation to gather ideas, spark creativity, and set priorities for future investment.

We have four play areas managed by the City Council in Eaton Village. Two small toddler play areas off Abinger Way and another in Tamarind Mews. The largest play area is at Eaton Green where EVRA has funded additional play equipment. The play area at Wentworth Gardens is managed by the Residents Group so is not part of the survey.

Having reasonably equipped facilities close to home is useful for an after-school visit or a short visit at other times but what additional facilities or equipment would you wish to see?

You can read more about the consultation and how to participate on the City Council website at: https://gettalking.norwich.gov.uk/play

The consultation runs until Sunday 10th August and only takes around 5 minutes to complete.

There will be a “pop up” event at Eaton Green on Wednesday 23rd July (with child-friendly activities!) where you can meet the City Play Areas team and have a chat. They will be at Eaton Green play area from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday 23rd July.
