The Committee of the Eaton Village Residents’ Association wishes you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It was good to get back to what looked like a normal year and run a full programme of events.

In October, at our first AGM since 2019, a new Committee for 2022/23 was elected and has already started work. This includes re-establishing our Events Planning Team to look what EVRA events we run during the coming year. Details will be posted on our website, Facebook page and in our Newsletters.

Our 66 years old Village Sign was delivered to a workshop in Ingham for refurbishment but its return has been delayed following an accident to the workshop owner who was undertaking the major overhaul of the sign. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see the sign back in place soon during 2023. There are few workshops able to undertake this work and all are busy. The City Council has painted the post in readiness for the sign being returned.
