Eco Day Events – Saturday 7th May

Here are reminders of local Eco events in support of the environment happening this coming Saturday in Eaton Village:

Dawn Chorus Walk Marston Marsh Saturday 7th May: Join Phil Atkinson from BTO on a Dawn Chorus Walk around Marston Marsh on Saturday. Meet at the entrance to the Marsh on Marston Lane at 6:30 am. We would be pleased to hear if you are joining us by email to: evra.vc@live.co.uk

EVRA Eco Day Swap Shop: Our swap Shop in partnership with New-U and PACT is also on Saturday from 5:30pm at St Andrew’s Church Hall on Church Lane. Information about how the Swap Shop works will be found on the EVRA website at:

Please come along and see what is on offer. New-U will be bringing a selection of clothes from their shop in Castle Quarter which will be on sale as well as available to swap for donated clothes. We have already received donated clothes, books and toys and more would be very welcome.

Donated books and toys can also be swapped or items bought on the day. Any remaining books or toys will be donated to PACT.Donations can be delivered to St. Andrew’s Church during church open times (10am to 4pm) until Thursday but please contact Chris Stebbing via email should you have any issues on: evra.vc@live.co.uk.

St. Andrew’s Church are holding a Spring Eco Fair in the Church and Church Hall from 10am to 12 noon with stalls and activities for all ages with an environmentally friendly focus.
