Many residents enjoy EVRA Family Fun Day

Thank you to everyone who came along to the Cellar House to support our Family Fun Day. We had a glorious sunny day with lots of families enjoying the games on offer and the BBQ. The tombola sold out as did the BBQ. The children had a great time on the games and tried their hand at climbing.

Thank you to Victoria and Grahame and team at the Cellar House for supporting our event and hosting this. Thank you to all our volunteer helpers running the games and stalls and thank you to Eaton Vale Activity Centre for bringing along and running their climbing wall. Thank you also to Smith & Pinching for sponsoring our banners and posters.

We made just over £320 from our Family Fun Day at the Cellar House and we now have around £1000 towards the refurbishment of the Eaton Village Sign following only a few months of fundraising. Still some way to go to reach our target of £3000. If you have any ideas for fund raising and are willing to help then please let us know. Email us at: evra.vc@live.co.uk

We are indebted to Vic, our Vice Chairman, for his successful organisation of the Fun Day. Vic has had a busy time this year having also organised the Scarecrow Festival and the Environment Day on Marston Marsh. Thank you also to the EVRA Committee members and other volunteers that ran our stalls and games and helped to make the day a great success. Thank you also to those residents who have offered to get involved and assist the EVRA Committee. We do need more people to participate and also take on committee roles to ensure that EVRA continues to support our community.
