Neighbourhood Policing Priority Settings

Neighbourhood Policing Priority Setting: See message below about setting policing priorities for the coming year. Last year the priority topic was dealing with anti-social behaviour issues at hotels on Unthank Road but these should go away now that the hotels have been sold for re-development. Traffic and parking around schools was another top topic and continues to be an issue in Eaton Village and on Eaton Road. So what are your concerns? Make your thoughts known to PC Adam Binns by 13th October by email.

Here is the message from PC Adam Binns :
This year saw us launch our digital Priority Setting process, utilising social media platforms to encourage the public to vote on what matters to them in order for our teams to set local priorities. This process is to complement our other engagement work.
The Norwich South process is underway and will run this month. I am contacting you to ask for issues affecting your community. Please email those issues to me and once collated they will be assessed by the local Policing Commander and the public voting will then commence. We select 4 topics to put to the public vote, based on policing relevance and threat/risk/harm factors.
Could I please ask you forward any nominations for priorities to me via email by Friday 13th October 2017 . Email to: binnsa@norfolk.pnn.police.uk
The top 3 issues will then be shortlisted and go to a public vote on 17th October 2017 with a closing date of 22nd October 2017. The chosen priority will go live on 23rd October 2017. (these sates are subject to slight change)
If you and your members don’t already, please follow both Norwich Police Twitter and Facebook accounts.
